Join with schools and communities in an innovative, intersectional approach to cultivate more gender and LGBTQIA+ affirming environments for our youth.

 

Positive Images

Multiple weekly support groups, a youth leadership development program, mentorship opportunities, an LGBTQIA+ Library, resource and referral station, and a Transformation Station. We’re proud to offer a warm, welcoming, and affirming environment for young people to explore their individual identities, develop leadership skills, and contribute to our collective community.

 

LGBTQ Connection Sonoma & Napa

Fueled by youth and other emerging leadership, fosters a healthier, more vibrantly diverse and inclusive community. Each year, LGBTQ Connection engages 3,500 LGBTQ people, their families and community, and trains 500 providers from local organizations across Northern California to increase the safety, visibility and well being of LGBTQ residents.

 

Queer and Trans Community College Student Oral History Project

Contains interviews, videos, and other resources in order to help community college educators provide more robust and nuanced support for queer students broadly, as well as students of color, disabled and neurodiverse students, and poor and working-class queer students in particular. Verity

Working in cooperation with the community, Verity strives to eliminate all forms of violence, with a special focus on sexual assault and abuse. Verity facilitates healing and promotes the prevention of violence by providing counseling, advocacy, intervention, and education in our community.

 

Humanidad- Therapy & Education Services

Humanidad’s mission is to strengthen the lives of the Latinx community by increasing access and utilization of community mental health resources. We transcend barriers and reduce stigma by providing culturally proficient therapist training, inclusive community education, and bilingual therapy services. 

 

Santa Rosa Community Health Gender Clinic

The gender clinic strives to provide integrative gender-affirming therapy for our gender-expansive patients. The gender clinic provides full spectrum care by a family medicine provider and staff. Most services are provided at Lombardi Campus, however, anyone is welcome to establish care with any provider at any campus. 

 

Face to Face

Face to Face has addressed the ever-changing challenges presented by the HIV epidemic in and to the communities of Sonoma County. The focus becomes eliminating new infections and supporting HIV/AIDS-affected individuals so that they can live an independent and healthy life for many years. Face to Face is committed to providing the essential care necessary to help reconnect our clients with their vitality and well-being

 

West County Health Clinic

West County Health Clinic prides itself in providing compassionate and accessible care for all members of our diverse community with a full scope primary medical, and dental care as well as mental health services. Their HIV/AIDS primary care program is one of the original grantees for Ryan White Title III funds. They aim to provide personal quality healthcare to those who are not accepted elsewhere due to HIV/AIDS, homelessness, mental illness or addiction; those in the community who lack the financial resources to pay for quality health care, as well as many others.

Transgender Law Center is the largest national trans-led organization advocating self-determination for all people. Since 2002 we’ve been organizing, assisting, informing and empowering thousands of individual community members towards a long-term, national, trans-led movement for liberation.

Human Rights Campaign

By inspiring and engaging individuals and communities, the Human Rights Campaign strives to end discrimination against LGBTQ+ people and realize a world that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all. HRC envisions a world where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people plus community members who use different language to describe identity are ensured equality and embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.

 

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project’s mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ+ youth through research, advocacy, crisis support, and education. Offers 24/7 crisis counseling through phone, text, and chat. Now available in Mexico as well. 

Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD)

GLAAD – the world’s largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization – increases media accountability and community engagement that ensures authentic LGBTQ stories are seen, heard, and actualized. As a dynamic media force, GLAAD ensures fair, accurate, and inclusive representation that rewrites the script for LGBTQ acceptance. GLAAD tackles tough issues to shape the narrative and provoke dialogue that leads to cultural change. 

 

Gender Spectrum

Gender Spectrum’s mission is to create a gender-inclusive world for all children and youth. To reach this goal, Gender Spectrum helps families, organizations, and institutions to increase their understanding of gender and consider the implications that evolving views have for everyone.
